Camera Installation:
- Remove the protective film from the camera lens.
- Position the Reef-Cam inside or outside your aquarium in a location with an unobstructed view and within reach of the Wi-Fi hub.
The Reef-Cam lens should not be located in a position where it can come into contact with sand or gravel or in any location where it could become scratched or damaged. Only clean the Reef-Cam lens with a soft clean cloth and never with an algae pad, scraper, or any other abrasive material.
- Install the mounting bracket to the side of the aquarium using the suction cup or magnet mount. If mounting dry, use the adapter.
Magnet Mount: For flat surfaces up to ½” thick.
Locking Suction Mount: For all smooth surfaces. To install, push to surface and turn the locking suction cup knob clockwise until the Reef-Cam is fully secure.
- Gently push the Reef-Cam cable into the retaining slot, and if needed, use the cable securing suction clip to secure and tidy the connection cable.
Cleaning Instructions:
Using a soft cloth, regularly clean the Reef-Cam lens to ensure it is clean and free of algae and detritus at all times. Failure to do so will have a direct effect on the quality of picture achieved.
