Overview
This lily has lemon-yellow pedals with marble designed pads that are purplish-maroon. The marbling is more pronounced than in the Sulphurea. Flower shape is cup-like then star-like. Has a sweet fragrance and tolerates partial shade.
Sulphurea
The lemon-yellow blossoms of the Sulphurea are fairly free flowering. The leaves are slightly marbled a purplish-maroon color. Flower shape is a star-like cup. Sweetly fragrant flower that tolerates partial shade. Free flowering in sunny locations.
These plants are very tough and hardy, which makes them perfect lilies for beginners. Prolific bloomers, both varieties will spread 4-6 feet, bloom from mid-summer to early fall and grow in zones 4-11.
