Overview
The Australian Mulitcolor Dottyback is also known as the Australian Dottyback, New Holland Multicolored Dottyback, Australian Pseudochromis, and the Red and Green Dottyback. It is red with green markings on the body, and blue lining the tops of the fins.
A 55 gallon or larger aquarium with many hiding places provides a good environment. This Pseudochromis should be housed with moderately aggressive fish larger than itself. It will eat ornamental shrimp.
The diet consists of meaty foods including brine shrimp and prepared frozen foods.

I bought this fish from live aquaria approximately six months ago. It never comes out except to kill any fish that likes to inhabit the bottom third of the tank. It's a beautiful fish. Too bad you won't ever see it. It does however eat any food. The current tankmates in a 55 reef are a hawkfish, a pair of clowns, and a tail spot blenny, who has the good sense to stay near the top of the tank. The victims include a pair of flasher wrasses, a solon fairy wrasse and a purple firefish,RIP.
