Overview

The Black Barred Convict Goby, also known as the Black Barred Circus Goby, Circus Goby, or Full Moon Reef Goby has a white body with black to brown vertical stripes.

A 10 gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of hiding places is suitable for this cryptic fish. It is a great addition to the reef aquarium and will spend most of its time resting and swimming within the rock work. It is non-aggressive towards other fish and will not bother invertebrates in the tank.

The Black Barred Convict Goby is easy to feed and its diet consists of most marine foods. Prepared foods such as vitamin enriched mysis shrimp and brine shrimp should be fed on a regular basis.

Approximate Purchase Size: 1/2" to 2"

Customer Testimonials

Matt Bayside City Not Selected , NY
Cool fish! Spends most of his time swimming upside down within the rock work but comes out to feed when food is introduced into the tank. Sometimes you forget he is in the tank until you see him peeking out of a cave looking for food. Recommend for small/nano type tank with peaceful tank mates.
