The LiveAquaria® Certified Captive Grown Purple Superman Montipora Coral requires moderate to high aquarium lighting conditions achieved by T-5s, powerful LEDs or the more intense metal halides. To maximize growth rate, maintain high pH, alkalinity and calcium levels, as well as high water quality with phosphate and nitrate levels as close to zero as possible. Along with proper lighting and water quality, the LiveAquaria® Certified Captive Grown Purple Superman Montipora Coral will benefit from moderate to strong water movement.

However, be sure to provide ample space away from other corals as it can grow quickly under ideal conditions. For its continued good health, it requires the addition of calcium, magnesium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water.
