Overview

The Ultra Robokaki Coral is a beautifully colored chalice coral sure to make an attractive addition for any reefer - beginner or collector! The Ultra Robokaki Coral boasts attractive color gradients that wonderfully emphasizes its unique growing habit. True to its common name, the growing edge of the Ultra Robokaki Coral scrolls upwards and outwards giving it the appearance of a chalice or cup. This fantastic combination of color and architectural growth habit provides fantastic visual interest to your reef aquarium landscape.

The Ultra Robokaki Coral is a hardy and fast growing large polyp stony LPS coral demonstrating a thin, plating growth form. The Ultra Robokaki Coral requires low to moderate lighting achieved by T-5s, powerful LEDs or the more intense metal halides combined with low to medium water movement within the aquarium. Keep in mind the Ultra Robokaki Coral can produce sweeper tentacles that can harm more docile corals and invertebrates. Be sure to provide sufficient space between the Ultra Robokaki Coral and other corals because of its semi-aggressive temperament.

The Ultra Robokaki Coral satisfies the majority of its nutritional requirements by means of photosynthetic, symbiotic zooxanthellae algae hosted within its body. However, it will benefit from supplemental feedings in the form of micro-plankton or baby brine, fed twice per week in the evening while its tentacles are visible. For continued good health, the Ultra Robokaki Coral benefits from the addition of calcium, strontium, and other trace elements to the water column.
