The ideal setup for the species included in the LiveAquaria® Premium Shrimp Kit is any established freshwater aquarium with proper filtration and high water quality. These ornamental invertebrates will thrive in aquariums landscaped with additional live plants, rocks, and driftwood to provide lush habitat with ample hiding spaces. For best care maintain high water quality by performing regular, routine water changes. To help ensure proper growth of your live Dwarf Anubias plant, please be sure it receives eight to ten hours of light.

Like all invertebrates, species included in the LiveAquaria® Premium Shrimp Kit are sensitive to copper. Therefore copper-based medications should never be used in aquariums housing ornamental invertebrates. Do not house species included in the LiveAquaria® Premium Shrimp Kit in aquariums with loaches, puffers, and other larger carnivores that will feed on invertebrates.

The species included in the LiveAquaria® Premium Shrimp Kit are omnivores and require a varied and well-balanced diet, which includes quality flake foods, sinking pellets, freeze-dried, frozen, and live foods, as well as algae wafers and other high-quality plant based foods.
