The Halfmoon Platinum Betta boasts a shimmering white body, almost with a metallic hue to it. Unlike albino species, there are no traces of pink at all, just a shimmering white. The halfmoon tail is a signature presence, as always.

As is the case with Betta splendens, the Halfmoon Platinum Betta does not play well with others of its own species and must be housed by itself, away from other bettas. Just like others of its species, the Halfmoon Platinum Betta will enjoy a planted aquarium, offering plenty of places for them to hide.

The Halfmoon Platinum Betta is a carnivore, and will appreciate a healthy, varied diet comprising of flakes, pellets or frozen foods that are rich in animal proteins, which is an essential part of its diet in the wild.
