Overview
The Striped Cardinalfish is silver in color, highlighted by dark horizontal stripes.
A 30 gallon or larger aquarium with a cave and peaceful tank mates is ideal for this slow and methodical swimmer. A mated pair may be kept, and under ideal conditions may breed.
It should be fed a well balanced diet of meaty foods such as feeder shrimp, marine flesh, flake foods, pellet foods, bloodworms, and depending on its size, live feeder fish.

Definitely a slow and methodical swimmer! However, if it sees food, it'll make a dash straight for it...especially larger pieces of food. I've seen mine gobble up pieces almost the size of it's head and worry about chewing later.
Note, it also ate some small peppermint shrimps, probably because it thought they were food, not friends. Otherwise, it's quite peaceful.
