Like other Betta splendens, the Halfmoon Elephant Ear Betta is not a fan of other males of its own kind but will appreciate the company of other peaceful fish. Requiring a minimum tank size of 4 gallons, the Halfmoon Elephant Ear requires a varied meaty diet consisting of pellets, flakes, and frozen food.
